Sunny England
Ah sunny England. I took off for a three day trip primarily in Nottingham, but also in London. The first shot is from the plane and I really liked the brighter green fields against the darker grass and trees.
There was so much interesting architecture radically different from what we have here in Iceland.
Lots of it had interesting contrast on otherwise boring brick facades.
This one I largely liked the ramp sloping down in front.
A beautiful cemetery near my hotel, bright and sunny. I had to hold my camera over my head and place it on a wall to capture this.
On this one I really like the deep blue shadow area with soft yellow sunlit top.
Once perspective is corrected, I just love the symmetry and rhythm of some of these buildings. The bright green city bus adds to the interest as well.
This one I liked the dirtiness and the concrete sphere.
These were just half painted boarded over windows, but I liked how they looked like hung canvas paintings. The woman in front serves for scale.
I really liked the pattern of these leaves against the wall, and only after taking it did I notice the lens flare which I feel adds to the interest of the photo.
